Good Global Payroll service

I used Papaya Global for their Global Payroll service for our international team. The platform was pretty robust, handling different currencies and local tax filings without much fuss. Setting up new employees took a bit longer than I expected, maybe because of the country-specific compliance guides I had to review. Customer support was responsive when I had questions about multi-currency payments, which was a plus. Overall, it's a solid solution, but I think the onboarding process could be streamlined a bit more.

Pretty smooth Payroll Consolidation

So, I tried Papaya Global for their Payroll Consolidation, because our old system was a mess. It was actually pretty smooth. Got all our different payrolls under one roof, which was nice. I mean, it wasn't instant, but it didn't give me any headaches either. The employee self-service portal is a cool feature too, makes things easier for everyone.

Fantastic Contractor Management!

I just used Papaya Global for Contractor Management, and I'm seriously impressed! It made handling our global contractors so simple, from onboarding to payments. The platform is super intuitive, and everything just worked. I was worried about compliance across different countries, but they handled it all. Definitely coming back for more services!

Good value for HRIS

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best deal on an HR Information System (HRIS). Papaya Global offered a pretty competitive annual billing discount when I signed up. The cost per employee felt reasonable, especially considering the comprehensive features. The implementation took about three weeks, which was within my budget for time. I felt I got good value for my money, saving on what I would have paid with other providers.

Reliable Global Workforce Payments

I've used Papaya Global multiple times now for Global Workforce Payments. This last time was just as reliable as before. Payments always go out on schedule, and their multi-currency handling is consistent. I chose them initially because they support a lot of countries, and that hasn't changed. They're my go-to for international payments; they haven't let me down yet.

Is Papaya Global generally cheaper than Deel or Remote? Trying to compare costs for global payroll for a small team.

S Shane Hughes 1 month ago
It's hard to say definitively without getting a quote for your specific needs, but in my experience, Papaya's pricing can be competitive, especially if you have more complex global needs. Deel sometimes felt a bit more per head for basic stuff. Definitely get a demo from both.

They're all pretty close in that space. Papaya might have an edge if you're looking at annual billing discounts or something like that, but you gotta compare apples to apples with your specific employee count and countries.

how does Papaya Global handle multi-currency payments for employees? Is it a hassle, or pretty automatic?

K Kate Whitfield 2 months ago
From what I understand, it's pretty seamless. They handle the conversions and local payouts through their system, so you don't have to manage different bank accounts for each currency. It's one of their main selling points for global teams.

It's automatic. They process payments in local currencies for your global workforce. Definitely not a hassle, that's why we picked them.

Does anyone know how long it takes to actually get Papaya Global set up once you decide to go with them? We need to get this running fairly quickly.

D Dana K. 1 month ago
It varies a lot depending on your company size and how many countries you're dealing with. For us, a medium-sized company with employees in 3 countries, it took about 6-8 weeks from contract to full rollout.

A friend of mine said their implementation for a small team was surprisingly fast, maybe 4 weeks? But they only had workers in one extra country. I think they'll tell you during the demo.

Thinking of switching to Papaya Global for our payroll stuff. Does anyone know if they're good with taxes in different countries? Like, will they actually handle all the local filings without me having to worry?

B Ben C. 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do. I'm using them for employees in a few EU countries and they take care of all the local tax filings. It's been pretty smooth.

They explicitly state they do. I asked during a demo and they confirmed it's part of their service for all supported countries. Saved me a ton of headaches.

Can you use promo codes with Papaya Global? I've seen some sites listing them but not sure where to even put it.

G Gwen J. 2 months ago
Nah, I don't think they really do promo codes like a regular online store. All their discounts seem to be through sales reps or specific landing pages, not a box you type into.

G Gwen Patel 2 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure you won't find a coupon code box. Any discounts, like for annual plans or referrals, get applied directly when you talk to their sales team and get your quote.
